Jang Hye Sung & Cha Kwan Woo

Synopsis

Park Soo Ha was 9 years old when the car containing his father and himself was hit by truck. A man comes out from the truck and Soo Ha hears his thoughts ‘I need to finish him off’, just as he is about to strike his father with a baseball bat. After killing his father, the man then turns to Soo Ha to kill him as well but is stopped mid-swing by the sound of a camera flash going off. The killer goes off in pursuit of the photographer leaving Soo Ha unharmed physically but scarred mentally. The photographer is actually Jang Hye Sung, an 18 year old high school student who testified against the murderer in court. Her testimony brings about the imprisonment of Soo Ha’s assailant and Soo Ha falls in love with her during the course of the trial. If it wasn’t for her, Soo Ha would have been dead and the death of his father would be covered up using the excuse of a car accident.

10 years later, Hye Sung is now a lawyer while Soo Ha is a top student with mind-reading abilities. He has been searching for her for 10 years and happens to read about her in the newspaper when she succeeds in obtaining a better position in the legal field. Cha Kwan Woo used to be a policeman but later sat for his legal exams to become a lawyer. He meets Hye Sung during an interview and the two become friends. Together, the 3 of them solve difficult cases and bring about justice in this cruel, cruel world.
